I am getting the following error message although the backup completed successfully:

[14-Jul-2021 13:18:21] WARNING: Trying to access array offset on value of type null
[14-Jul-2021 13:18:21] Backup transferred to https://xyz-backup.s3.amazonaws.com/my_bucket/2021-07-14_13-17-31_CSVXIZCY01.zip.
[14-Jul-2021 13:18:21] WARNING: Trying to access array offset on value of type null

Any idea of what’s causing this error?
WP 5.7.2, PHP 8.0.8, BackWPup 3.9.0

Hello @eric3d
Seems like the issue was caused because you using PHP 8, WP itself did not fully compatible with the latest PHP 8 yet(https://make.wordpress.org/core/2020/11/23/wordpress-and-php-8-0/)
Also, BackWPUp needs to work with an older PHP version(5.6) too so there are small warnings, we already working on it and it should be fixed in the future update.
These warnings will not affect your backup job, please no worry!
So I would suggest better downgrade to a more stable version like PHP 7.4, or you can ignore these warnings for now ^^

Thanks. I downgraded to PHP 7.4 and the warning went away.
