I had a really bad experience with the Slickpress plugin. It doesn’t seem to be properly tested with other WordPress plugins or custom code. As soon as I installed it, it started conflicting with my site, especially with my WooCommerce setup. My entire store stopped working after activating this plugin. It completely broke my custom code as well.

Honestly, this plugin feels very unstable and unreliable. If you care about your website running smoothly, I strongly recommend avoiding Slickpress. Do not use it , it’s just not worth the risk.

    Hi Ava,

Thank you so much for taking the time to share your feedback about Slickpress. I’m truly sorry to hear about the issues you encountered, and I completely understand your concerns regarding stability.

You’re absolutely right—this was the first version of the plugin, and while it was built to be lightweight and broadly compatible, we recognize that not every WordPress environment is the same, especially when custom development is involved. Unfortunately, the plugin hadn’t received updates in the last several months due to limited engagement.

Your experience has brought to light some important areas we can improve. While we aim to test across a range of scenarios, we know we can’t catch everything, and your input is invaluable in helping us move forward.

If you’re open to it, we’d be incredibly grateful if you could share a bit more detail about what went wrong. Understanding the specifics will help us make Slickpress more robust and ensure a smoother experience for others. We will try to push an update as soon as possible. You can reach out to us directly at info@quuantum.com.

Thanks again for your honesty and for giving Slickpress a try. We’re committed to making it better, and your voice plays a big part in that.

    Warm regards,
    Dheeraj
