Then, stupidly, I hit the button at the bottom of the screen in the dashboard that says ” “All export” thinking this would back up my website in case I needed it again. Instead the whole website crashed and I can no longer log into wordpress. The password that worked fine over the weekend no longer works. If this works, re-activate them individually (one-by-one) to find the problematic plugin(s). – switching to the unedited default Theme (Twenty Sixteen.) for a moment using [FTP/ SFTP ](http://codex.wordpress.org/FTP_Clients), or your web-host’s cPanel or whatever file management application your host provides( no Dashboard access required). Navigate to /wp-content/themes/ and switch to the default theme by renaming your current theme’s folder by adding “-old” to the end of the folder name. Alternately, you can remove other themes except the default theme (Twenty Sixteen.). That will force your site to use it. **MANUALLY** updating. Download a fresh copy of the WordPress .zip file to your computer, unzip it, and use that to copy up all files and folders **EXCEPT the wp-config. php file and the /wp-content/ directory.** You may need to delete the old wp- admin and wp-includes folders and files on your server before uploading the new ones. Unfortunately I can no longer access my wordpress account. I can’t get into the website to start with. I can get into this Forum. But the fatal flaw has replaced my website with the message above. When I try to log in, it tells me “You don’t have any wordpress sites yet. Would you like to start one?” Core problem. Can you help?
