• Hi,
    I tried to change a permalink to something else then accidentally closed the window. So I had a page linked to go to a 3rd party site.
    Now I get
    Warning: preg_match() [function.preg-match]: Unknown modifier '/' in /home/bmose14/public_html/richie/wp-includes/classes.php on line 210
    in both the front and backend.
    the website is: bmose14.com/richie

    I have tried deleting the page, and uninstalling the Picasna plugin I installed.
    any help would be great! I”m a first time wordpress user (used Joomla before) and I’m having lots of problems with 2.8 apparently!
    Thanks, you guys are the best,
    -Brian

  • Try deactivating all plugins and check to see if this resolves the problem. If it does, activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).

    Looking at: bmose14.com/richie seems like you resolved the problem.
    I am having the same problem and can identify that it happens in the backend when I use custom permalinks (i.e.) /%postname%/

    Care to share how you resolved the problem? (Thanks)

    I am also experiencing the same issue. PLease help.
