    Hi,
    I use backwpup 3.8.0 on WP 5.7.2 and both scheduled and manual jobs shows:
    “WARNING: Packets out of order. Expected 1 received 0. Packet size=145”.

    What can I do to fix this?

    Thanks.

    May help, probably at the time of the backup job run, at the site root file of error_log I get this error:

    PHP Warning: Packets out of order. Expected 1 received 35. Packet size=1032191 in <site root>/wp-includes/wp-db.php on line 1813

    Lines 1811 to 1822 at this wp-db.pho are:

    public function check_connection( $allow_bail = true ) {
    		if ( $this->use_mysqli ) {
    			if ( ! empty( $this->dbh ) && mysqli_ping( $this->dbh ) ) {
    				return true;
    			}
    		} else {
    			if ( ! empty( $this->dbh ) && mysql_ping( $this->dbh ) ) {
    				return true;
    			}
    		}

    		$error_reporting = false;

    Line 1813 is:
    if ( ! empty( $this->dbh ) && mysqli_ping( $this->dbh ) ) {

    Hi @eitanc
    this issue warning reported from your database server, not BackWPUp ^^, I did some search on the internet and found a workaround solution could help by changing your DB_HOST to localhost instead of 127.0.0.1 (or vice-versa)
    Or better, contact your hoster and tell them about the issue, they should resolve it for you ^^
    I hope my answer could help!

    Thanks!
    I am the hoster and admin… 🙂
    Where is this DB_HOST located?

    @eitanc
    it’s located in your wp-config.php file.
    Since you are the hoster admin, maybe you could try increasing max_connections in MySQL.
    Your current max_connections maybe 1024, try to increase it to 4096 in my.cnf.

    Thanks, I tried it all but none worked. I Even tried to move to PHP 8.0.6 (from 7) due to some web hints for this direction, but none helped…

    Server restart also didn’t help.

    It may not be DB related since it shows several times, right after the following 3 lines:
    A. Connected to database…
    B. 1. Trying to make a list of folders to back up …
    C. Compressing files as ZipArchive. Please be patient, this may take a moment.
