• Hello! I am wanting to upgrade to Yoast SEO premium but I am having a huge problem with the free plugin currently so I’m a little leery to upgrade.

Since I’ve updated my Yoast SEO plugin to 10.0 on March 12, my website traffic has dropped by 50%. My google page rankings have drastically dropped too.

I was planning on upgrading to premium but with this, and the last mishap with the media & attachment urls, I’m very scared to. And I’m thinking of going with another company entirely. I have checked the forums and other users are having the same issue too since updating to 10.0.

Can you please fix this recent issue? My website is Domsubliving.com. I have checked all of my other settings and they are fine. It happened immediately with your new update.

    Thank you for helping me!

Sorry this is happening to you too. Make sure to email them at support@yoast.com with all the details. Maybe they’ll admit they messed up and put out a bug fix. We’re definitely not the only ones.

yes, but I won’t reply because I didn’t purchase premium.

Sorry to hear about your site’s ranking drop. So far, no issues have been reported about the plugin that may affect your site’s ranking on search engines. Google rankings (and the traffic it generates) depend on over 200 ranking factors such as server load, page speed, cache configuration, mobile versions, responsiveness, and the site’s content.

We’d recommend you check whether you made any important changes to your website at the time the organic traffic to your site began to go down and consult your Google Search Console account for the possible crawl and index issues.
