Warning msg asking to upgrade – Annoying!
-
Hi,
Since I updated to 3.0 – I can’t get rid of this: https://gyazo.com/4b938be9ea77a7106fd67995b855c2ad
Keep coming back even I click on “no thanks” or the close icon. Very annoying.
Thank you

Same issue here. Upgrade prompt ignores “no thanks” and keeps returning.
Hi @thibotus01 and @thewebatom
Thanks for reporting this. I’ve opened a Github issue here: https://github.com/semperfiwebdesign/all-in-one-seo-pack/issues/2556
So far we’ve been unable to reproduce this behavior. Please contact us at https://semperplugins.com/contact/ so we can investigate this further. Paste this forum thread’s URL where it asks for “license key”.
The issue continues after the 3.0.1 update on my site…identical banner and behavior to that posted by thibotus01.
It’s asking for a license key – read the OP, it’s asking us to upgrade! I am having the same issue on all the sites we have your plugin installed!
It is persistent on EVERY SINGLE ADMIN PAGE!
You have until Friday to get it fixed, or I switch every client to Yoast…

Additional information such as WP version, WordPress multisite or single site, PHP version, what hosting company you use, what caching you have active (hosting? server? plugin?) and what plugins you use would be helpful as well.

@thewebatom @zaborj @thibotus01 Are any of you using a caching plugin such as WP Fastest Cache?
Yes and No – no Caching Plugins, but on Production servers, we are using server-side caching & CDN – however, on our development servers we do not use any caching or CDN and we see the same issue.
Server level caching too. But WP-ADMIN shouldn’t be any cache…

@thibotus01 I agree wp-admin shouldn’t be cached, yet here we are. 😉

We’ve released 3.0.2 which hopefully fixes this issue. Please let us know if it fixes it or not.
Seems to have resolved the issue for us on 7 affected sites.
@thewebatom Thank you for the followup. That’s great to hear!
I appreciate your patience while we worked on the fix.Sorry, I’ve jumped the gun a little. We have one site on 3.0.2 that’s still affected. Will try to submit a ticket with your support later in the day if I get some time.
@thewebatom Do you have any caching from a host, your server, plugins, etc?
If you’re referring to a Github issue, we’ve got one open here: https://github.com/semperfiwebdesign/all-in-one-seo-pack/issues/2556
You’re welcome to contribute any info that can help us figure out why some people are having this frustrating problem. -
