I recently built a website in WordPress.org and when I went to Goggle Webmaster Tools to help Google find my website, I found a list of error messages with respect to “missing” information such as author and update. I tried locating the right code to replace some of the existing WordPress code but nothing seems to work. From all the posts I’ve read, I know it is a simple fix but I can’t figure it out. Can anyone direct me?

This could take a lot of coding work but do not edit the theme itself. First create a child theme for your changes.

Personally, I wouldn’t worry about this.

A child theme has already been created. I would not worry about the missing information except that Google can not read my website to properly prepare sitelinks under the domain, making more difficult to find. Do you have a source I can turn to read more information on the subject?

What makes you think that? Are you already generating a Google XML sitemap?

Because they are none listed. I’ve listed a XML sitemap to Google twice and it doesn’t accept the link.

There are seven sitemaps that were generated by Yoast SEO, but the one I submitted was: http://www.businessplanmyway.com/page-sitemap.xml.
