[Resolved] Warning: Missing argument

  • While trying to change a menu this error message appears

Warning: Missing argument 2 for wpdb::prepare(), called in E:\Domains\c\cambourne.info-1065692249\user\htdocs\wp-content\plugins\no-future-posts\no-future-posts.php on line 74 and defined inE:\Domains\c\cambourne.info-1065692249\user\htdocs\wp-includes\wp-db.php on line 992

I am not that technically minded having inherited the site and getting no help, I hope you will treat me gently 🙂

I deleted all the files from the corrupted files and uploaded a backup from a few weeks ago but the problem persists

http://www.cambourne.info/ working on ext.links menu tab which shows no sub menu

That’s a problem with the no-future-posts plugin – which is here:

Unfortunately, it looks like it hasn’t been updated in quite a while – no doubt why you’re seeing that warning. Here’s a more technical explanation:

PHP Warning: Missing argument 2 for wpdb::prepare()

WPyogi that is extremely kind of you to reply so quickly.I will follow the links if I can.
Having changed all the files from a backup I can’t really understand quite why it persists but then the whole concept of wordpress is hard for an old grumbly like me to follow 🙂 Have a great Christmas and thanks

Your mention of the plug in was extremely helpful as I disabled it and errors disappeared, it seems when I updated wordpress it was not compatible
