# Warning: Illegal string offset

   wp-content/plugins/buddypress/bp-activity/bp-activity-template.php on line 3102
 * Warning: Illegal string offset ‘id’ in /home3/pimplove/public_html/wp-content/
   plugins/buddypress/bp-activity/bp-activity-template.php on line 3107
    on a user
   page on my website… the website is [http://www.naughtybahamas.com](http://www.naughtybahamas.com).
   Usually I search google for help but this one is specific to my site and I can’t
   find help. I went into 3107 and it said $latest_update = sprintf( ‘%s [%s](https://wordpress.org/support/topic/warning-illegal-string-offset-15/%s?output_format=md)‘,
   $latest_update, esc_url_raw( bp_activity_get_permalink( $update[‘id’] ) ), esc_attr__(‘
   View’, ‘buddypress’ )
 * but honestly I don’t know what is wrong…

 * Try [manually resetting your plugins](https://codex.wordpress.org/FAQ_Troubleshooting#How_to_deactivate_all_plugins_when_not_able_to_access_the_administrative_menus.3F)(
   no Dashboard access required). If that resolves the issue, reactivate each one
   individually until you find the cause.
 * If that does not resolve the issue, access your server via [FTP or SFTP](https://codex.wordpress.org/FTP_Clients),
   navigate to `/wp-content/themes/` and rename the directory of your currently 
   active theme. This will force the default theme to activate and hopefully rule-
   out a theme-specific issue (theme functions can interfere like plugins).
