I tested formidable in a multisite set up and decided to not use it. Now when I test sign up for a new site, I get the following warning messages:

Warning: fopen(/home/wpinsta/public_html/wp-content/plugins/formidable/formidable.php) [function.fopen]: failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /home/wpinsta/public_html/wp-includes/functions.php on line 3508

Warning: fread(): supplied argument is not a valid stream resource in /home/wpinsta/public_html/wp-includes/functions.php on line 3511

Warning: fclose(): supplied argument is not a valid stream resource in /home/wpinsta/public_html/wp-includes/functions.php on line 3514

Please help fix this issue. Thanks

For anyone wandering in here later, Jan got an answer on the Formidable support site: http://formidablepro.com/help-desk/tables-not-cleaned-up-on-removal-getting-warning-messages-now/

    Thank you @essaysnark,

I should have circled back around to update this thread.

Actually, I believe the problem may have been CloudFlare. Even though I paused the service and put the site into development mode, I believe it still interfered. When I deleted the account for this website the problem went away.

    Thanks - Jan

Interesting. I've heard that CloudFlare sometimes causes problems. The behavior you saw with the Formidable references was definitely strange. Glad you got it sorted out!
