    Hi Willem-Siebe,

The error is because you left a field with the required attribute empty and is handled by your browser. Probably, you’re using a Dutch browser.

As far as I know you can’t style this error as it is browser specific. You can remove the error by removing the required attribute in the form mark-up.

    Good luck.

    Hi Danny,

Oke, you are totally right on this one and different browsers use different layouts. Is this ‘required’ you added in the HTML (and which I can remove without problem) a part of HTML 5?

When I remove it your errors will appear again. Would you advice to leave required there and let the browser handle it first because that’s maybe the future with HTML 5?

    Hi Willem,

Yep, required is a HTML 5 feature. I would definitely use it since it works quite well on mobile devices etc. as well. When the browser doesn’t support HTML5 yet nothing will break.

I might work on JavaScript validation in a future version of the plugin where it is easier to style the message but for now I think HTML 5 is a really good option.

    Hope that helps, good luck!

    Danny
