warning displayed on all pages

  • I inistalled the theme ChaoticSoul and all my pages (can be viewed at http://www.towntribune.net)display the following at the top of the screen:
    Warning: call_user_func_array() [function.call-user-func-array]: First argumented is expected to be a valid callback, ‘header_style’ was given in /home/franksch/public_html/towntribune/wp-includes/plugin.php on line 123

    It seems like something got misplaced during install. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks

  • Deactivate all plugins – test – reactivate one by one, testing in between.

    From top WordPress menu I select “Plugins” – there are only two listed:
    “Akismet” and
    “Hello Dolly”
    but neither appears activated (it displays “Activate” aftrer each. Is there another place for me to look?

    I took a look at it. Version 1.2 of that theme is broken due to incorrect coding (somebody didn’t quite know what they were doing there).

    Edit the theme’s functions.php file. At the very bottom, you’ll find this:
    add_custom_image_header('header_style','admin_header_style');

    Change that to this:
    //add_custom_image_header('header_style','admin_header_style');

    That’ll eliminate the problem.

    Otto – That fixed it. Thanks a Million! (I never would have found that.)
