Warning: Cannot modify Heading Info! White Screen!

Just got this error message on my site::

Warning: Cannot modify header information – headers already sent by (output started at /home/kaonline/public_html/index.php:12) in /home/kaonline/public_html/wp-includes/pluggable.php on line 876

I have tried everything but I have no idea how to fix this! PLEASE HELP!

Have you disabled your plugins? Have you reverted back to the TwentyTwelve theme and are still seeing that error?

I’ve renamed my plugins in file manager…nothing has helped so far..

I am not able to login to the backend of wordpress so I cannot revert back – but I did try deleting the theme and re-installing it,..and this did not help

thank you for your help!
I’ve reviewed this document – and tried editing the code to remove any spaces – but this did not work – so I will try replacing the entire wp.config file now and see what happens!

You reinstall WordPress manually from a freshly downloaded copy except wp-content. Do not overwrite files/ folders but delete them before reinstalling.

I actually found the errors – there were multiple PHP files that were corrupt within the site and had extra bogus code in them…so I manually went and deleted this and now it is working!
