    Warning: Cannot modify header information – headers already sent by (output started at /path/wp-admin/admin-functions.php:1965) in /path/wp-includes/functions.php on line 1348

    i read the documentation and checked for spaces before/after/in-between the first and teh last tags. they are all ok, I still get this problem. I changed the admin-functions.php file from a different working site’s file, still the problem persists. i urgently require help as I cant upload imges to my site any more…

    sounds like it’s in a plugin file .. disable your plugins a cpl at a time, paying attn to ones that are used in the admin area. you’ll eventually figure out which one it is.

    ok. thanks, checcking that out…
    same problem…
    i have only TWO plugins:
    phpBB recent Topics
    and
    Akismet…

    (interesting thing is that after I chaned the admin-functions.php from a different file, the error move from line 1965 to line 1986. does that give any clue?)

    no, didnt help switching the plugins off… any thoughts?

    you say you changed the admin-functions.php file? Try downloading a fresh copy of WordPress and re-uploading all files to your site.

    too scared to do that… i have an ollld version of wp with an ooolllld theme. if the theme beccomes incompatible or something, I am cooked!

    i have a wp front end and a phpBB forum connected via phpBB-recent-topics plugin. I ran a php-Admin-Toolkit to delete some spam users, and it gave me an error that I dont remember. could THAT have triggered this problem?

    strange. this morning, it mysteriously started working again!
