I know very well about the lines and all, the first line is without any space.

No empty lines! I even tried todo the following:

I reinstalled wordpress on a different tabelprefix. So it automatically created a wp-config.php. Then all i did was change prefix back to wp_ (which the blog is).

And then i get this error again, so i reccon it’s not the wp-config. I even deleted all files and re”installed” the files on my server with a fresh copy of wordpress.

This is truley annoying. I can’t even log into wordpress cause i get this error.

Any ideas? Much appreciated. And PLEASE do not tell me about wp-config.php – It has nothing todo with it pretty clearly.

  • the issue exists with your wp-config.php

Try removing the ?> from the end to see if that fixes it.

I did.. I removed it, i added it.. I checked everything. I am a forum leader @ wp-support.se (wordpress sweden), so I know my way around wp-config and such. But for some reason it’s still not working!

As I explained, i tried the automatic installation and just altered the prefix for the tabel. Didn’t make any changes, still getting that thing.

How would I go about to remove all widgets, via the database as i can not log in trhough the admin panel?

I wouldn’t suggest trying to remove the widgets via the db. have you tried changing themes? (though if you were already using twenty ten it won’t help.)

maybe deactivating any plugins as well to rule them out.

I am begging to think it has something todo with the server it self.

It’s for a client, and this is what i did:

I moved all the files into “backup” folder.

I switched theme to twenty ten.

Now i downgraded back from 3.02 and it worked.. well it worked after i imported the posts into a new database. The old database which I presume is updated is not working. This is insane. I truley don’t know what can be wrong. He can’t update it to 3.02 cause then he get heards error :S

Hmm, if the database was not working it wouldn’t cause the issue you were seeing. (as far as I know).

did you check the htaccess as well? (clutching at straws..)

But I can’t think why upgrading would affect it in any way, The changes were fairly minimal.
