# Warning: Cannot modify header information

 * Hello fellow forum members,
 * I’m new to WordPress, and I’m having a few issues with some changes I made last
   night. I’ve installed WordPress and it’s been working fine for months. I decided
   I needed to backup the database, so I went through Godaddy’s backup service for
   the SQL database, but couldn’t remember the password to logon. I went through
   their password changing process, and was able to backup the database. I didn’t
   think about the fact that the password would need to be changed in the wp-config.
   php file, so the site said the blog had been deleted. I went back into the wp-
   config file, changed the password to the new one I created, and uploaded it through
   PHP. Now, when I access the site, I get
 * Warning: Cannot modify header information – headers already sent by (output started
   at /home/content/a/g/e/agentgambell/html/wp-config.php:63) in /home/content/a/
   g/e/agentgambell/html/wp-includes/pluggable.php on line 770
 * any and all advice is very much appreciated.

 * Ah, very true, and thanks for the advice. I just panicked and threw up a post.
   I’m working on going through the search results, to find an answer as I write
   this. As an update to the issue, [http://www.galaxieguy.com](http://www.galaxieguy.com)&
   [http://www.galaxieguy.com](http://www.galaxieguy.com) don’t work, but galaxieguy.
   com does work, so at least my content is still intact. Just need to figure out
   what’s going on with the rest. Thanks again.

 * Whooami, I really appreciate your advice, and was able to resolve the issue with
   the links you provided. I realize you probably answer that question 1,000 a week,
   but I’m really thankful 🙂 I couldn’t find anywhere to send a PM, but if you 
   have a second, could you explain what the hell that file does? It’s strange to
   me that one line of nothing can cause that problem. If not, I totally understand.

 * Can anyone explain to me why there is an error on the 63 line when the config
   document does not have 63 lines?
