WARNING: Broken Mess with WordPress – Read

    This thing is a broken mess in so many areas when used on wordpress. It seems like it just hasn’t been tested much from a UX/UI perspective. This has cost me hours of time to try to get some photos on my reviews.

    Issues

    • There are two areas to upload a logo and one has a small size allowance. When you upload in one area, it breaks the other logo upload area.
    • You cannot edit Review thank you emails that get sent when someone goes to your store or when you manually request a review. You have to have a premium plan and use code to do this, but that means if you are paying $10-15 a month as a new company, you have to jump up over 10x the price and then know how to code that.
    • Sending manual review requests goes through a different flow then automatic review requests and are not editable without custom code and the highest premium plan. But a large company isn’t going to have a need for manual review requests, so that doesnt make any sense.
    • WordPress only allows review by email request, you can’t actually just let someone do it on the website.
