Please confirm you used Contact Form Ready when this occurred? We don’t prevent you from Deactivating or Deleting the plugin at all.
Are you perhaps running a multi-site? You’ll need to access the plugins page of the main site to deactivate and delete the plugin should you wish to do so.

Please can you let me know why you think you cannot delete or deactivate the plugin? This is standard WP functionality and we cannot interfere with it. Considering this is the ONLY one star review we have received (and in my belief, in complete error), can you please get back to me with this so I can debug this issue?
