Want to show 1 post from each forum

I am trying to show the posts in a single forum (not subsequent comments). I am entering this on my page using a shortcode with the Clean Separated template. If i make the settings on Number of Posts per Feed >1, entries from a single post will show multiple times. I would like all those to be unique posts.
