Want to have a front page with a list of recent topics

    I’m looking for a theme that has a list the most recent posts on the front page. But I need it to only display the title and Excerpt, and maybe the avatar. This way, the front page will have just an easy list and you have to click on the title to see the contents of the post.

    So far, I haven’t found any theme like that. I’m new, so I’m not totally sure that a theme is the solution.

    Any recommendations?
