• Ok I’m sure the title doesn’t make much sense, so to explain… I want to make a blog post that people will only be able to see if I give them the exact link to the post.

I don’t want the post to show up on my blog page, and I don’t want it to show up in “recent content”.

I thought making a private post would work (post doesn’t show up on blog or recent content), however, if the link to the post is entered by anyone but myself, it says there’s no content to see.

Is there any way to solve this?

    Thanks a lot!

    Anyone?

Why don’t you just set a password. I do it all the time with clubs & membership type websites so they can post rosters, club rules, etc..

I have the same need. I am using the Content Slide plug-in which basically rotates images that are each defined by custom fields in a post, in a dedicated category. My problem is that each of those posts is showing up on my blog, and recent posts. I want them to be invisible, but they must be public to work with the plug-in. Here is what it looks like on my site.
    Help and Thanks!

Found a solution – or at least a workaround. Backdate the posts (to a date prior to the creation of your blog) so that they are deep in your blog and most likely will not be seen. Of course, if it is absolutely a must that nobody finds the page this isn’t quite 100%, but it works for me!
