Support » Fixing WordPress » Want to bring consistent fonts to comment field names

    I need consistency of fonts across my website. However for the labels used in “Comments” “Search” and “Category” “Search” field labels, I am not able to change the font sizes.

    I cant change the labels for these fields. “Name” “Email” “address” “website” and “comment”. Also, With category search, I cant change the tiny italicised text to something easier to read.

    All these supplied field names are microsocpic. I think they might be font size zero. I have no idea what these labels are called, so I cant reset the font name style and size.

    I need to change these field label fonts in comment and search widgets (I presume).

    Can someone show me CSS scripts to change these fonts and font sizes, or show me alternate plugins?

  • Hey @philsmartchi!

    Since you’re using the Kale Pro theme, I recommend that you reach out to the theme’s developer for support.

    You could also try posting in the support forum for the Kale theme.

    Hi there,

    Use this CSS to increase the font size of comment form.
    .form-label {font-size: 21px;}

    Use this CSS to increase the font size of Category search.
    .widget_categories select, .widget_archive select, select {font-size:20px; height: 40px;}

    Use this CSS to increase the font size of search.
    .blog-feed-sidebar > h2 {font-size: 20px;}

    Hope this helps 🙂

    Thanks Robert Anderson. I am a customer of Laratheme. They are being enormously helpful, supplying me with CSS scripts to harmonize the fonts. i have also found a few useful scripts on the Support forum. However these labels have not responded to any of the scripts offered so far. I have seen nothing discussed in the support forum that goes this far.

    Thanks Amitmhr. This looks promising. As soon as my daily backup taken, I’ll apply the scripts and will try to let you know what happens.

    Hi Amitmhr

    I have installed the CSS scripts and they work. What puzzles me though, is that you have used an H2 reference, but in my heading specifications, only H1 and H3 work, nothing else is impacted when I change the font size for H5 H4 H2 and H1. I must look into that further.
