    Hi Subscribe to Comments!

This plugin is just perfect for what I need and seems to work very well in my testing (haven’t launched my site yet).

Question: my site name has an apostrophe and an ampersand in it. This has not been an issue with my theme or anywhere else. the site is: charlottesogn.com (Charlotte’s Oil & Gas News)

In the Subscribe to Comments settings, I put my site title in the From field, as charlotte’s oil & gas news. In all emails sent, the “From” field looks like this:
    [charlotte's oil & gas news].

I even tried editing the From field in the Settings to:
charlottes oil and gas news” removing the characters that need to sanitized. It didn’t help! The From field in all emails still looks the same.

How can I fix this? Any ideas, suggestions, workarounds greatly appeciated!

    The info you need is:
    site: charlottesogn.com
    theme: Customizr Pro v. 1.2.18
All plugins, theme, WordPress are fully updated.

    Thank you!!!

    Charlotte

  • ok, so naturally the text looks fine here (see above)!! Hopefully, you know what I mean..

    Hey Charlotte,

I just tried to replicate this and couldn’t do so. I think it may be something host-specific or maybe even email client specific. If you can – share with me who your host is and what email client you were using?

    Hi Jason,

I am so sorry!! I did resolve this but neglected to close the thread.. I found someone to help me with coding but can’t recall exactly what they did – I wish I could have more info!!

Thank you again for taking the time to respond, and have a great day!!

    Charlotte
