[resolved] want sidebar only on the front page (5 posts)

    i would like to have the sidebars show up only on my front page which is where i have the blog posts appear. how do i remove the side bar from all of my other pages? i have looked and looked for this answer.

    On each page you should be able to choose the "template" you want. This is on the right side of the page below where you type in the actual "content" of the page. Currently you are most likely using the "Default" template. All you have to do is choose the "No sidebars" or the "Fullsize" template in the drop down menu.

    thanks. but i don't see anything like that. there is no page template choice in that area or anywhere else i can find. seems like it should be just that easy to do though.

    Here is a link to a screen shot of what I am talking about. See on the right hand side where it says "Page Attributes" You can see the drop down menu to select the correct template.

    If you do not have this option then look at the top of your browser and find the "Screen options" button. Click this button and select the "Page Attributes" box. You can see the screen options button in the above screen shot. Here is a screen shot of what it looks like when you click the "Screen Options" button.

    thanks. i knew there was somewhere easy to do this. my page attributes were not showing. fixed.
