[resolved] Want City and State but don't want Address (7 posts)

    I'm trying to include the city and state in the event information but have no need for the address or location.

    How do I selectively just choose to have the city and state as the required fields and turn off address/location as required?

    Is this for WP admin, or on the front-end of your site (for user submissions)?

    Ok, and when you say "selectively" do you mean you want be able to switch it on / off globally at any time, or to be able to choose on an event by event basis?

    Sorry, that was poorly expressed.

    I would like to have the following be mandatory for both the Admin submission of information and on the site's event submission web page:
    City and State

    I would like to be able to have the option of submitting the street address if available but it and the "location" field as optional.

    Does that clarify what I'm asking?

    Found a lazy work around:
    put dashes in the fields to have them filled out and then just not display address on the event page. It comes up on the map if available.
