Want a searchable custom database

I want to create a database (“Lodging” and “Dining”) where visitors to the site can see all of the options for the area, but then narrow the search field by community or type of accommodation. (i.e. search for lodging in Eastern Oregon, but show only what’s available in Halfway, or only the Bed and Breakfasts)

I haven’t been able to find a widget that will let me have a custom search of just a created database and not the entire site. Any suggestions?
