    Hello UpdraftPlus team,

I encountered the message: “Waiting until scheduled time to retry because of errors”, which seems to be caused by my Google Drive account running out of storage.

I was wondering—is there a way to resume the backup using a different Google Drive account or even switch to a local backup, without starting the entire backup from scratch? In other words, can I avoid re-backing up files that were already successfully completed?

I appreciate your time and any guidance you can provide.

Thank you for your help and for the great plugin!

    Hi,

To help us work out the cause of your problem, can you please send us a copy of the full backup log?
This can be found in the UpdraftPlus Existing Backups tab. The contents will be too long to post here directly, but you can use an online service such as Dropbox or Pastebin, and post the link here.

    Kind Regards,
    Bryle

    Hi @sara2428 ,

The Backup log shows this error 11046.056 (1) Google Drive: Upload exception (Google_Exception): Failed to start the resumable upload (HTTP 403: usageLimits, The user has exceeded their Drive storage quota) (line: 322, file: C:\Bitnami\wordpress-5.8.2-0\apps\wordpress\htdocs\wp-content\plugins\updraftplus\includes\google-extensions.php)

The message indicates that your Google Drive storage quota has been exceeded, which is why the backup can’t be uploaded. To fix this, please free up space in your Google Drive, or connect UpdraftPlus to a different Google account with available storage.

    Regards,
    Bryle
