W3TC cache won't purge

  • Hello,
i have a serious problem. My website consists only of scheduled posts. This means that editors prepare content for few weeks and schedule it for appropriate dates. Unfortunately when we enabled W3TC to decrease server load, we noticed that cache wouldn’t purge and website content would not update. Garbage collection interval 3600s, but it would never refresh.
Any help or suggestions where to look for a help appreciated.

  • I just got an idea – maybe it’s possible to set up Cron Job every hour with a link to some php file that would clear cache? If yes, how should this script look like and where should i place it?
