W3C validator returns "Attribute effect not allowed on element a at this point."

    Hi there…was wondering if anyone can shed any light on this. When I run my website on W3C validator, it returns an error pointing to this plugin:

    Error: Attribute effect not allowed on element a at this point.
    From line 1539, column 476; to line 1539, column 668

    I DO understand what this error means, but the question is how to resolve it?

    Any help appreciated!
