 * Hell guys,
 * I am using the W3 Total Cache plugin, enabled with most options ON (including
   CDN, Cloudflare, Minify, page cache etc.). I am experiencing serious problems
   in the WP-admin panel, frequently receiving nr.500 errors whenever I want to
   add a new post, make some changes, build a sitemap, etc.
 * What can I do? I need the plugin because it really speeds up my website. I temporarily
   deactivated the plugin and everything comes back to normal.

 * Hi MyDaily-Gadget,
 * The plugin caused problems and you want to keep it anyway: more bugs may be waiting
   for a next surprise **😉**
 * Anyway, the only “_safe way_” that I see here will be to de-activate one option
   at a time in order to spot which of its functionality is giving you a hard time(
   _assuming there is such a thing_).
 * You may also take a look at other plugins offering the same kind of results.
 * _Good luck!_

 * I will try that as soon as I get home.
 * Also, what other plugins can offer similar results?

 * I think you can check [Hyper Cache](http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/hyper-cache/)
   or [WP Super Cache](http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/wp-super-cache/) (_that
   seems a little bit harsh to install_).
 * For myself, maybe that I don’t have a huge blog with heavy traffics, but I use
   the simple [Quick Cache](http://www.primothemes.com/post/product/quick-cache-plugin-for-wordpress/)
   plugin and all is going smoothly.

 * OK, it seems that once I disable the Object and Database cache, all things go
   smooth. How these two elements would of influence my website?
 * P.S: Thanks for the alternatives Le-Pixel-Solitaire.

 * I don’t have a clue about how these two have an impact on your blog, but I think
   you should pay an extra attention to this exerpt from the [BuddyPress’s page of the plugin](http://buddypress.org/community/groups/w3-total-cache/):
 * > *Optional: On the “Database Cache” tab, the recommended settings are preset.
   > If using a shared hosting account use the “disk” method with caution, the response
   > time of the disk may not be fast enough, so this option is disabled by default.
   > Try object caching instead for shared hosting.
   > *Optional: On the “Object Cache” tab, all of the recommended settings are preset.
   > If using a shared hosting account use the “disk” method with caution, the response
   > time of the disk may not be fast enough, so this option is disabled by default.
   > Test this option with and without database cache to ensure that it provides
   > a performance increase.
 * Advice of the _very last_ chance: maybe using another little plugin to handle
   just this feature (_like_ [DB Cache Reloaded](http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/db-cache-reloaded/)
   _for instance_) in conjunction with `W3-Total-Cache` could do the trick..?

 * [@mydaily-gadget](https://wordpress.org/support/users/mydaily-gadget/), what
   were the errors in your web server error log?
