    Hello

1 – I was using “WebP Converter for Media” and “Cache Enabler” together to impove page loading. It works fine and images are loaded in WebP format as expected.

2 – Howewer “Cache Enabler” is a simple easy to use caching plugin, so I replaced it with the more powerfull “W3 Total Cache” plugin : Removing “Cache Enabler” and installing “W3 Total Cache” plugin.
3 The loding time is improved globaly by the same amount but the WebP images are no more used by “W3 Total Cache”. It loads the original .jpg images! By loading the .webp images it should even load faster !
4 I tried different adjustments of “W3 Total Cache” and was not able to use again the .webp images.

These two plugin do not work together ! I also reported the problem to the “WebP Converter for Media” team.

Ok Problem solved in the meantime :

I went through W3 Total Cache Best Settings at https://fatfrogmedia.com/w3-total-cache/#database-cache
I think the main adjustment I made in “W3 Total Cache” to make it work was to set “Page cache” on “Disk mode”. It delivers now the “WebP Converter for Media” .webp images as expected. Improved from fast to very fast page loading: rating 99 or 100 on Google Lighthouse performance index !

Sorry for the trouble and thanks for the fast answer.
    Robert.
