W3 Total cache has massive plugin runtime??

Hi

I am running your plugin on my site, I installed it thinking it was going to improve my site speed however my site still isn’t running fast and it seems it might even be slower with your plugin activated no matter what settings i use.

I’ve ran a couple of P3 scans on the site and each time it says that w3 Total cache has the largest runtime out of all my plugins. In fact it accounts for 23% of all plugin runtime at 1.0755 seconds?

Is there something I am missing here? Surely this plugin should be one of the fastest?
