# W3 Total Cache error

 * Hi there,
 * We have installed w3 total cache error on our site which uses MaxCDN and HideMyWP
   plugin and we are getting the following 2 errors[also see [http://postimg.org/image/uw0lnqgn5/%5D](http://postimg.org/image/uw0lnqgn5/%5D).
 * 1. W3 Total Cache error: It appears Minify URL rewriting is not working. Please
   verify that the server configuration allows .htaccess
 * 2.W3 Total Cache error: It appears Page Cache URL rewriting is not working. Please
   verify that the server configuration allows .htaccess
 * How can we resolve these errors and make the plugin work?

   and js?

 * Here’s something I found (see the link in the reply)

   although it’s for nginx).
 * Or it’s possible that your HideMyWP is preventing W3TC from writing to .htaccess.
   This issue appears with other security plugins such as iThemes Security.
 * The Hide plugin may have renamed the filepaths which may have been hardcoded 
   in W3TC is what I can guess.
