• Hello I have a domain that uses SSL and can’t get W3 Total Cache to work correctly with any variation of settings. I have used w3 Total Cache in the past and I prefer it to other Caching plugins on the market. I’m even willing to upgrade to pro it I can get it to work but there isn’t any point upgrading if I can’t get it to work in the first place.

The issue that I am experiencing is that with W3 Total Cache turned on my website seems to work just fine but Google PageSpeed Insights detects the following error: “Fetching the page exceeded the maximum of 10 redirects. The last URL fetched was https://mydomain.com/. This may indicate the page is redirecting to itself, or has a loop of redirects. Therefore Google’s spider will no longer index my site. The only fix so far is to turn off the W3 plugin, but I want to use caching on the site so I’m kinda at a loss right now.

Any ideas/help would be great! Thank you!

Well I’ve gotten one step closer to discovering what is causing this… Under W3 Total Cache > General Setting If I uncheck the box “Minify: Enable” the problem goes away. So it has something to do with the default minify settings.

I’ll keep poking around to see what I can figure out… any & all ideas are appreciated!

Well in the end I think it may have been a flook that the minify setting being turned off caused the problem to go away… because it’s back. The site seems to be working just fine but Google gets an error and refuses to index the page
