I’m hoping someone can help me out here. I have W3 Total Cache installed on a WordPress site hosted on a Windows server. The server is using IIS 8. I can install the plugin without any problems, but when I activate it I get a message in the dashboard saying
FTP credentials don’t allow to delete folder C:\inetpub\wwwroot\XXXXX\www/wp-content/cache/config
The first thing that I looked at was how it combined ‘\’ and ‘/’ in the URL. I checked around but couldn’t find anything that would cause this to happen. I tried other caching plugins but got a similar issue. Are there any configuration changes that I have to make on a Windows server? Has anyone run into this before?
I also checked the permissions just in case and couldn’t find anything wrong there either.
Any help would be appreciated,
