[resolved] W3 Total Cache Can't Delete Config Folder (4 posts)

    Hello everyone,

I'm hoping someone can help me out here. I have W3 Total Cache installed on a WordPress site hosted on a Windows server. The server is using IIS 8. I can install the plugin without any problems, but when I activate it I get a message in the dashboard saying

FTP credentials don't allow to delete folder C:\inetpub\wwwroot\XXXXX\www/wp-content/cache/config

The first thing that I looked at was how it combined '\' and '/' in the URL. I checked around but couldn't find anything that would cause this to happen. I tried other caching plugins but got a similar issue. Are there any configuration changes that I have to make on a Windows server? Has anyone run into this before?

I also checked the permissions just in case and couldn't find anything wrong there either.

    Any help would be appreciated,

Did you manage to fix this? Same issue here, apache though.

Not really. I was on a tight deadline, so I ended up using Hyper Cache instead.

Ok thanks for letting me know.

I managed to resolve the issue by changing to Php 5.4.
