# W3 Total Cache – Browser Cache – exception list

 * I would like to disable Browser caching for my wordpress front page and the url
   [https://www.domain.com/latest-updates/](https://www.domain.com/latest-updates/).
 * I tried adding them to the “Prevent caching exception list” with:
    index.php /
   latest*
 * But I still get an expire header 24h in the future. When I disable the entire
   Browser Cache, then the expire header is removed.
 * Am i using the wrong expressions for the Prevent caching exception list?

 * You can exclude that page from being cached in Performance>Page cache, scroll
   down to advanced where you will see “_Never cache following pages:_” field.

 * Hello,
 * Browser cache works per extension only. So you should not use Browser Cache for
   html in that case Uncheck expires header in this case.
