I noticed that I get errors with the Browser cache option enabled and the object cache option slows down my site.

Are there any specific compatibility issues with W3 total cache and WordPress 3.0?

I’ve had problems with my server load and slow page loading since I upgraded to WP 3.0. Dreamhost suggests that there are some compatibility issues with W3 Total Cache and Wp 3.0

The development version is perfectly stable.

If it’s perfectly stable, why call it a development version? Why not release it as a current version? Are there some non technical reasons for not releasing it?

I do not feel like it. There are numerous reasons including updating the FAQ and other user interface concerns.

    Hi Frederick,

To manually upgrade to the development version of W3 Total Cache, should I first delete the existing W3 Total Cache folder on my server and then upload the new version or can I just upload the new version over the existing folder and overwrite the files? Does it matter?

Thanks! And thanks for a great plug-in!

    Delete and re-install is better.
