W3 Total Cache and Site 'Waiting Time / Time To First Byte' Result

    Hi Guys,

    I find when I install W3 Total Cache and run a performance test on Pingdom or GTMetrix it complains about slow server response and the ‘Waiting’ time for the site is also about 1.3 seconds.

    When I uninstall, delete the plugin and remove #W3 Total Cache (or something like that) lines from .htacess, the ‘Waiting’ time reduces to about 0.3 milliseconds.

    I can’t work out why and it’s driving me crazy. Maybe it’s my .htaccess file or something, but could anyone help?
