W3 conflicts with Divi theme builder

    Hello

    I’ve found that W3 conflicts with Divi theme builder.
    When W3 is activated, many builder functions do not show on builder preview. Deactivating W3 solve the matter.
    Divi support is aware of this and they point to you.
    Will appreciate if you’ll fix this

    As suggested by someone else the solution MINIFY FOR LOGGED-IN USERS works in my case also.
    Hopefully it remains that way.

    You may also have to disable CDN for Administrators and other users as well when using Theme Builder functionality. This is in addition to the minify changes. You can find it on W3’s CDN page.

    It would be really nice if these two vendors would work together on this instead of pointing the finger at each other. Both are leaders in their respective fields. But this “not our fault, talk to the other vendor” excuse is old, tired and doesn’t help them and certainly doesn’t help their clients.

    Would be great to get a dual-vendor approved solution vs having to peck and hunt through these support pages for things that others have tried, that may or may not work for someone else.

    Seriously folks.. pickup the the phone and *talk* to each other. By working together you actually help your end-user base.

    Yes… most of my Divi Sites with W3TC have been experiencing this same problem. I’ve isolated the issue (using console error reports) down to one problem. The minify.

    If I turn OFF minify during page/post editing. Divi loads. When done, turn the minify back on. It’s a hassle, but it works.

    Hello @ljvincent

    YOu should make sure to disable minify for logged-in users in Performance>Minify>”Disable minify for logged in users” save all settings and purge the cache.
    That way you won’t need to turn the minify on/off every time.
