 * Hi,
    I was looking to validate my website so I installed the Validation plugin.
   Ran a check on some pages and it turns out that each page has at least 8 errors.
   Now I’m not much into the html side of things so the question is, does the W3
   cache plugin serve a similar purpose or do I need to fix the errors using HTML?
   Thanks

 * The W3 Cache and W3 Validator are two completely separate things. The W3 Validator
   is an HTML validator from the W3 organization, whereas W3 Total Cache is a caching
   plugin which just happens to have W3 in its name.
 * Using a caching plugin won’t change your validation errors, it will simply cache
   them along with the rest of your site.

 * Thank you for your reply James.
    It looks as if I will have to do a bit of html
   editing then.

 * I was sent this link by the theme designers which I found useful:
    [Google insights](https://developers.google.com/speed/pagespeed/insights/)
 * It looks like a simpler option for someone like me but still shows how to make
   the site efficient.

 * Ah, I don’t recommend that, Google’s tool is actually a bit buggy. It reports
   things which are working as not working.
 * I recommend [http://gtmetrix.com/](http://gtmetrix.com/) and [http://www.webpagetest.org/](http://www.webpagetest.org/)
   instead.
