Votes not showing

Hello,

I like your plugin. It seems to be exactly what we want for our contest. I installed ver. 1.24, created a gallery and uploaded some photos, then activated them.

On the frontend, it looks nice. But I am experiencing some issues:

It seems I can only vote when I view a single photo. Nothing happens on the gallery view.

When I try to vote when viewing a single photo, I get a missing loading.gif image.

Voting result does not display either in gallery or single photo view.

I am using a very basic twenty-thirteen theme with jet-pack as the only other plugin.

I have a problem! I may deleted the pictures from gallery. Is there any files were the votes are saved?

Hello Chuck,

does the bug you described still exists after update last week?

All votes are saved in the database.

In contest_gal1ery_ip you can see the ips and their votes and the images ids their voted.

In contest_gal1ery you can see the summery of images and their votes. But if you deleted images also the rows with information will be deleted.

<<< but then you need to know which image has which id, what is pretty impossible :).

So at the end, it can be sayed: if you deleted images, votes also are deleted.

I used the revised plugin but it did not solve my problem. I was working on a deadline and could not try to solve the problem any longer so I went with a different solution (not a WP plugin) that was not as elegant but worked.

btw: with next update there will be a slider and it will be possible to voute out of slider gallery directly.

in the moment it looks like you deaktivated the plugin. Plz test out the new version 3.00. There are pretty much improvements.
