Visual tab strips link attribute, is there anyway around this?

  • I am using jquery for a rollover and need to add an attribute to the <a>tag, example <a href="/about us">, but when I switch to the visual editor, it strips it out. How can I fix this?
    TIA!

  • What I have done in the past and have to do for google maps –

Edit your page in the visual editor then switch to html before you hit “update”.

You can work in the visual editor on that particular page just remember to always switch over to html before you publish.

I would copy past the complete code for that page and put it in a text file on your computer somewhere incase you forget to switch before you publish…

    Learned the hard way 🙂
