Visual page editor changes HTML entities and table cell sizes

    My site is on v5.03. My pages are written in HTML. Going were originally written in HTML, using some CSS classes. Going into the visual editor and adding rows to my tables has caused issues with the HTML being rewritten to add height and width specifically for example. I had to copy the HTML and edit it to get rid of all that.

    Other things happen, such as my ↓ ← and → entities get turned into a question mark (?) which has messed up my page…

    I can edit to fix but how can I stop this happening again?
