# Visual glitch?

 * Not sure if the plugin should behave like this or it’s a glitch.
 * When I click on an element like a switch, a radio button or a checkbox, the expanding
   circle does not disappear, but instead remains visible, like in the screenshot
   below:

 * The circle disappears only when an element loses focus. Looks quite unnatural.

 * Hi erenduk,
 * The ring is to indicate focus, so it stays as long as the element retains focus.
   This is as per the [material design guidelines](https://material.io/guidelines/components/selection-controls.html#).
 * I agree it seems a bit weird at first, but I’ve chosen not to deviate from the
   guidelines and Google’s Material Components Web implementation.
