# Visual Editor Problems

 * I have no idea what’s going on, and have tried to search for a remedy. I’m new
   to wordpress and am having the following issue.
 * When I first tried to edit a page (“about”) I was able to type freely in the 
   Visual format. Randomly, I am no longer able to type. Every key stroke simply
   changes the letter, but the cursor does not advance. I can’t type a single word.
   I can goto HTML and type, but if I switch back to visual and press ANY key it
   replaces the last character. The only key that works is delete, which doesn’t
   help at all.
 * Any idea what is going on?
 * Being new to wordpress this is very disheartening. Thanks in advance to any help.

 * Maybe this needs some clarification.
 * I type the following under the HTML tab for my page: “example”
 * I then switch to VISUAL and attempt to start where I left off at, wanting to 
   make the word “examples”
 * “S” = “exampls”
 * hit any other key, such as “p” = examplp”
 * hit “p” multiple times = “examplp”.
 * Delete one character = “exampl”
 * Rinse and repeat. This is frustrating.
