# Visual Editor not working

 * Hello,
 * For some time I’m having trouble using the visual editor, it doesn’t show the
   visual tekst in a post. Changing to html back to tekst editor does show tekst,
   however changes are not saved.
 * I did the usual:
    – unchecked in user the disable text editor – turned off all
   plugins – changed browers – disabled all extentions of browers – updated every
   plugin in wordpress Can I update TinyMCE that my theme is using?
 * I also tried some other solutions posted on the internet without success. Many
   users seem to experience similar or the same issue. Is there an update available
   or upcoming?
 * Please let me know if someone solved this issue.

 * I have I very similar issue to you and also tried the steps you describe.
 * Also I have restored a backup of my site so now WordPress 4.5.4 from 4.6.1 and
   Genesis Framework 2.3.0 from 2.3.1.
 * As you can see from the link I don’t even see HTML tags in the editor. Also clicking
   on the Visual Editor is really odd as it just gets the focus for a second and
   this goes back to to Text Tab.

 * Have you tried the usual debugging by setting this in wp-config.php
    `define('
   WP_DEBUG', false);`
 * A lot of posts talk about setting this change able to fix this issue but no joy
   `
   define('CONCATENATE_SCRIPTS', true );`
 * I have also been looking at F12 -Developer Tools – Console
 * However, I am no nearer to resolving this
