# Visual editor not working

 * Hi,
 * I am new to WordPress. I just started a real estate website. While I was designing
   the site, I found out that the visual editor is not working for me. When I click
   on the type area, nothing happens. I cannot type. When I searched, I found out
   that something is wrong. Something’s not loading. Just quoting the error message
   that I got from inspecting the elements:
 *     ```

 * having the same issue. does ad blockers block the visual? mine shows up in safari,
   but not in chrome. guessing chrome has a built in ad blocker.

    You might have 
   the same symptom but not the same problem.
 * Have you tried:
    -deactivating all plugins to see if this resolves the problem.
   If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic
   plugin(s). -switching to the default theme to rule out any theme-specific problems.

 * Hurray!!! It’s finally working.
 * I am so embarrassed to say that ALL I HAD TO DO WAS UNINSTALL THE ADBLOCK IN 
   CHROME!!!!
