# Visual Editor Not Functioning

 * I recently upgraded to 2.1.2 from 2.1.1. I find that whenever I edit a post or
   try to post a new one, the only screen I get is the HTML editor. There are no
   tabs present and no other option to select the visual editor.
 * Also, in the profile page I have checked the option to use the visual editor 
   when writing.
 * What could be the problem.
    I havent made any major modifications to the site.

 * Tried clearing your browser cache? (if FF or IE, while on the Write Posts page
   hit Ctrl-F5)

 * I tried it. But no avail. Everything else is working fine.

 * What browser are you using?
    Have you tried other browsers?
 * If Firefox, have you tried disabling extensions?

 * I am using firefox. Its not working in IE as well.
    I disabled extensions, still
   not working.

 * I guess I’d start by suggesting you verify (or re-upload) that everything is 
   present and accounted for under `/wp-includes/js`.
